IF you are not currently enrolled, you must apply to Howard College by completing the college application process and meet all general admission requirements. Students must be in good status with Howard College or transfer institutions (Academic and Disciplinary).

By completing this application, you will be considered for the Howard College San Angelo Health Professions LVN Fall 2026 Program. You will be contacted separately by the appropriate Howard College staff/faculty if further action is needed.

Before proceeding, you will need to have completed these items.

3. Review the San Angelo HP Booklet.
   
   
4. A background check is required. On the Castle Branch site, select "Place Order" then in the dropdown choose (San Angelo), (Health Professions), (HH88bg: Background Check). Submit your background check. Immunizations including Covid (or exemption if accepted by facility) will be required after acceptance into the program so only complete the background check in Castle Branch at this time.
   
   
5. If applying to a nursing program review and understand the Information for Licensure Eligibility at the Texas Board of Nursing.

The following items will be needed to upload and attach to your online application:

1. Your TEAS test results (upload the Individual Performance Profile score sheet that shows separate scores in each category of Reading, Math, Science, and English). TEAS test must be proctored at an approved testing facility. ONLINE/AT HOME PROCTORED tests WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 
   
   
2. CLEAR LEGIBLE COPIES of your unofficial transcripts including any dual credit classes and HOWARD COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS if applicable; include transcripts from ALL colleges you have attended. 
   
   
3. Active CNA License

If I am accepted as a student at Howard College, I will honor all administrative summons and conform to and abide by the letter and spirit of all the rules, regulations, and procedures of Howard College as given in the college catalog and student handbook.
