Bark at the Park Event Waiver and Release of Liability
Event Date: April 18, 2026 - Event Location: Howard College Campus: Foundation Field and Big Spring Refinery Ball Park
By signing this waiver, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms as a participant in the Bark at the Park event:
Assumption of Risk
: I understand that participation in the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to interactions with other dogs and people, bites, scratches, injuries, falls, illness, and other unpredictable incidents. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur to me, my pet(s), or my property as a result of my participation in this Event.
Pet Responsibility
: I certify that my dog(s) is/are up-to-date on vaccinations, in good health, and not aggressive toward people or other animals. I agree to keep my dog(s) on a leash at all times and under my control. I accept full responsibility for my dog’s behavior and any harm it may cause to people, property, or other animals.
Waiver of Liability
: I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns, hereby release and discharge Howard College, its employees, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or death.
Medical Treatment Authorization
: I authorize emergency medical care to be provided for me or my pet(s) if needed and understand that I am solely responsible for any associated medical expenses.
Photography Release
: I grant permission to Howard College to use photographs, video, or other media taken during the Event for promotional, advertising, or other related purposes without compensation.
Compliance with Rules
: I agree to follow all Event rules and instructions provided by Event staff. I understand that failure to comply may result in my removal from the Event.
